A young girl receiving her First Holy Communion at St Eugene's Cathedral

Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, using the appearance of ordinary bread and wine, which we receive at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Bread of Life fills us with the very presence of Jesus.

Your child must complete 2 years of Religious Education classes (PSR) in order to be eligible to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.
