The year 2025 will be a special year in the Catholic Church. Every 25 years we have a jubilee year with special indulgences, prayers, and graces. Its roots are ultimately in the Old Testament Torah and it developed as a specifically Catholic practice in the later Middle Ages. Also, it is the 75th anniversary of the founding of our parish. We will be celebrating a very special year indeed. To that end, we would like to create a Jubilee Committee to help plan and execute Jubilee events which will be liturgical and social.
