Holy Day of Obligation

This Tuesday, August 15th, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation. This doctrine was dogmatically defined by Pope Pius XII on November 1, 1950.
In addition to our two morning Masses at 6:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., there will be two evening Masses. Mass at 5:30 p.m. will be celebrated in the Extraordinary Form (Latin) and Mass at 7:00 p.m. will be bilingual, English / Spanish. A collection will be taken at these Masses.
