Lenten Mini Retreats

Lent is a time for us to pause and to make extra time for prayer, penance and reflection. To assist us on this journey, we are offering mini-retreats on 3 consecutive Saturdays during Lent: March 4, 11 & 18. Our priest-presenters will offer the 8:00 am Mass and then begin the talks approximately 15 minutes after Mass/prayers/devotions have ended. A Lenten snack will be available in the Parish Life Center during this break time. In our second presentation, on March 11th, Fr. Cameron Faller, of the San Francisco Archdiocese spoke on the “Four Last Things”: death, judgment, heaven and hell. This coming Saturday, March 18th, will be our final presentation with Fr. Raul Lemus, of St. Joseph Church in Cotati. Fr. Lemus will talk about “holiness” and base his presentation on a homily given by St. John Chrysostom (347-407 AD) with the theme being: Holiness cannot exist without evangelization.”
