Generations of Faith is an intergenerational faith process for the entire family, the entire parish.  This faith process embraces all generations & ages, promotes fellowship and offers suggestions for faith growth at home through prayer, song, indepth learning and ideas for home use. The curriculum is based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Sacramental Preparatory Program

The Sacramental Preparatory Program is a one-year process for all students in grades 1 - 5 in preparation for the reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist (First Communion) the following year.

Sacramental Year - Reconciliation and Eucharist

This is a one-year process for all students in grades 2 - 6 who wish to be prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist (First Communion). At least one year of prior Religious Education is required to particpate in this process.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

The RCIA process is for adults interested in learning about and making the Catholic Faith their own.  meetingThis process is also for baptized but uncatechized Catholics. Young people in grades 7 and above who have not been baptized are also eligible for this process. Adult Catholics seeking the sacrament of Confirmation should attend this process.

Liturgy of the Word for Children

Liturgy of the Word for Children affords children in grades K - 6 an opportunity to hear and learn about the Sunday Scripture readings appropriate for their level of understanding.  This opportunity is offered during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.

Program Registration

Registration forms for the 2010-2011 Religious Education programs are available here to print. Complete and submit the form(s) to the Religious Education Department in the Parish Office along with payment for the fees. Or turn in your form and fees during the annual registration weekends held this year on August 15, 22 & 29, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Life Center.
